Daniel Hogan (1899 – 1 August 1980) was an Irish politician. He was a member of the Fianna Fáil political party. Daniel Hogan was also a farmer. He served in both parts of the Irish parliament.

Serving in the Dáil
Daniel Hogan first tried to become a politician in the Dáil Éireann. This is the main parliament in Ireland. He was elected on his second try. This happened in the 1938 general election. He became a Teachta Dála (TD). A TD is a member of the Dáil. He represented the Leix–Offaly area.
He lost his seat in the Dáil in the 1943 election. But his political journey was not over.

After leaving the Dáil, Daniel Hogan was elected to the Seanad Éireann. The Seanad is the upper house of the Irish parliament. He was part of the Agricultural Panel. This group represents farmers. He was first elected to the Seanad in 1943.
He was re-elected to the Seanad in 1944. However, he lost his seat in 1948. Daniel Hogan returned to the Seanad in 1957. He was re-elected again in 1961. His final term in the Seanad ended in 1965.
