Danielle Maria Bux (born on June 15, 1979) is a Welsh actress and model. She first became known as a model in 1999 when she competed in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic beauty pageant in Las Vegas. From 2009 to 2016, she was married to the famous English soccer player Gary Lineker.

Early Life and Education

Danielle Bux was born in Cardiff, Wales. Her parents divorced when she was young, and she grew up in Cardiff with her family. She has one sister, three brothers, and one half-brother.

For her education, she went to Cantonian High School. During her childhood, she faced challenges because her grandfather was from Bengal, which is now known as Bangladesh.

Career Journey

Modeling and Television

Bux began her modeling career as a teenager. At the same time, she also worked as a flight attendant for Virgin Atlantic airlines. Later, she decided to become a full-time model. Her pictures have been on the covers of popular magazines like Hello! and OK!.

She has also appeared on television. In 2008, she helped present an award at the National TV Awards. In 2009, she competed in the cooking show Hell's Kitchen and finished in third place. She was also a guest host on the talk show Loose Women.

Acting Career

In 2011, Bux started her acting career in a stage play called Calendar Girls. She has also acted in TV shows, including the BBC drama Silent Witness and the American series Aquarius.

Bux has a daughter from an earlier relationship. In 2009, she married soccer star Gary Lineker in a ceremony in Ravello, Italy. Together, they appeared on the game show Mr and Mrs and won £30,000 for charity. Bux and Lineker announced their divorce in 2016.

In 2016, Bux began a relationship with American lawyer Nate Greenwald. They have a daughter, who was born in 2017. The couple got married in November 2019 in Nantucket, Massachusetts.

Bux supports the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation, a charity that helps people with spinal injuries. She became involved with the charity after her half-brother was seriously injured in a fall.
