Daniel Steward (born October 31, 1977), known as Danny Boy, is an American R&B and soul singer. He is famous for his smooth voice and for singing on many popular songs.

Danny Boy's Music Journey
Danny Boy started his music career very young. He signed with Death Row Records when he was just 16 years old. His first song, "Come When I Call," appeared on the Murder Was the Case soundtrack in 1994. This song was produced by DJ Quik.
Early Hits and Collaborations
In 1995, Danny Boy released his first single called "Slip N Slide." The video for this song was filmed in Cabo. It even featured famous artists like 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, and Nate Dogg.
Danny Boy is well-known for singing the choruses on several songs by the legendary rapper Tupac Shakur. These songs include "I Ain't Mad at Cha," "What'z Ya Phone #," "Picture Me Rollin'," and "Heaven Ain't Hard 2 Find." These tracks are all from Tupac's album All Eyez on Me. He also sang on "Toss It Up" from Tupac's album The Don Killuminati: 7 Day Theory.
Unreleased Music and Later Releases
While at Death Row Records, Danny Boy recorded many songs. However, none of his albums were officially released during that time. Later, he appeared on the soundtrack for Eddie Griffin's movie Dysfunktional Family. He also tried out for American Idol but was disqualified.
On April 20, 2010, Death Row Records released Danny Boy's first album, It's About Time. This album featured production from talented artists like DJ Quik and DeVante Swing.
