Daren King is a British writer. He writes books for both adults and children. He was born in Harlow, Essex, England, in 1972. His first book, Boxy an Star, was very popular. It was nominated for important awards in 1999. Later, in 2006, he won the Nestlé Children's Book Prize. He received a gold medal for his children's book Mouse Noses on Toast.
