Darrell Wayne 'Tricky' Trindall (born 16 February 1972) is a former professional rugby league player from Australia. He was known for his skills as a half-back, five-eighth, and fullback. Trindall played rugby league during the 1990s and early 2000s. He was born in Narrabri, New South Wales, Australia.

Darrell Trindall had a long and successful career in rugby league. He played for several teams during his time as a professional athlete.
Early Years and South Sydney
Trindall started his career with the South Sydney Rabbitohs. He played for them for ten seasons, from 1990 to 1999. During this time, he became a very important player for the team. He even became the club captain in 1997 and 1998. With the Rabbitohs, he played 150 first-grade games. He also scored a total of 328 points for the team.
Playing in England
During his career, Trindall also played overseas in England. He joined the Sheffield Eagles in 1994. Later, in 2000, he played a short time for St Helens.
Later Career in Australia
After his time with South Sydney, Trindall moved to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. He played for the Bulldogs for two seasons, from 2001 to 2002. He finished his main NRL career there. In 2003, Trindall played one season for Newtown in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW.
Representative Honours
Darrell Trindall also represented the Australian Aboriginal rugby league team. He played for them at the 1992 Pacific Cup. His performance was so good that he was named in the "team of the tournament." This means he was one of the best players in the entire competition.
