Darrian Robinson, born in 1994, is an American chess player. She holds the title of Candidate Master from the United States Chess Federation (USCF). In 2014, she was recognized as the highest-rated African American female player in the USCF system. Her USCF rating in September 2016 was 2086.

Darrian Robinson's Chess Journey

Darrian's chess career became well-known in 2006. That year, she ranked 6th among girls under 13 in the USCF. She also had the honor of representing the United States.

World Youth Chess Championship

In 2006, Darrian traveled to Batumi, Georgia, to compete. She played in the World Youth Chess Championship. This was a very special event. A New York Times article noted that it was the first time two African-American players represented the United States in this tournament.
