Datsakorn Thonglao (Thai: ดัสกร ทองเหลา, born on December 30, 1983) is a famous Thai former footballer. People often called him by his nickname, Go (Thai: โก้). He played as an attacking midfielder. Datsakorn was well-known for his powerful free kicks and great set-pieces.

Club Career Highlights
Datsakorn Thonglao played for many different football clubs during his career. He started playing professionally in 1999.
Playing for BEC Tero Sasana
Datsakorn joined BEC Tero Sasana, a team in the Thai Premier League, for the 2001-2002 season. He helped his team win the league title that year. This was his first big win as a professional player.
After this success, Datsakorn got a chance to play in Germany. He went on a loan to 1. FC Kaiserslautern for a season. The German club wanted to sign him permanently. However, Datsakorn decided to return to Thailand because he missed his home.
He came back to BEC Tero Sasana for the 2002-2003 season. He helped his team reach the final of the AFC Champions League, which is a big competition for Asian clubs. They lost to Al Ain FC from the UAE. In the same season, his team also finished second in three other competitions.
Time with Hoàng Anh Gia Lai
In 2007, Datsakorn moved to Hoàng Anh Gia Lai in Vietnam's top league, V.League 1. He quickly became a favorite among the fans there.
Success at Muangthong United
In 2010, Muangthong United, a champion team in the Thai Premier League, signed Datsakorn. It was reported that he became the highest-paid Thai footballer at that time. He was a very important player for Muangthong United. He helped them win the Thai Premier League title in 2010, 2012, and 2016.
International Career

Datsakorn started playing for the Thailand national team in 2001. He first played for the Under-19 and Under-23 teams. Soon after, he became a regular player for the senior national team. He played for Thailand from 2001 to 2014. He played in 98 official games and scored 11 goals.
In his early years with the national team, Datsakorn sometimes got into trouble on the field, leading to him being sent off.
In 2007, he scored two goals in a FIFA World Cup qualification match against Macau. He also scored another goal in a 1-1 draw against Bahrain.
He helped Thailand win the T&T Cup in 2008.
In 2011, Datsakorn scored two goals for Thailand in a 2-2 draw against Palestine during the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification.
He was a key player for Thailand in the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup. Even though he had a groin injury, he kept playing until the end of the tournament.
In October 2017, Datsakorn played his 100th game for Thailand in a match against Kenya. This is a very special achievement for a footballer.
