David Bala's Acting Journey
David Bala started acting on stage in 1976. He loved making people laugh! In 1979, he began working in radio dramas. Soon after, in 1980, he got his first big role on TV. He played the main character in a comedy show called "Ippadiyum Oru Kudumbam".
This TV show was a huge hit! Because of its success, David Bala became known as the "Comedy King". In 2007, he acted in a movie by Jack Neo called Just Follow Law. That same year, he also had a main role in the TV show Tetangga. In 2008, he appeared in another movie, Ah Long Pte Ltd.
One of David Bala's most famous roles was in the 2011 movie The Ghosts Must Be Crazy. A funny line from his character in this film even became a popular internet meme!

Besides acting, David Bala also worked as a security officer at Republic Polytechnic starting in 2014.
His Passing
Sadly, David Bala passed away on August 29, 2014. He died because of heart disease. He is remembered by his wife and four children.
