Edguard dedicated this book to Henry Fitzroy, Duke of Richmond. Henry Fitzroy was the son of King Henry VIII. Edguard called himself "his physician" in the dedication.
  • Introductio ad Anatomicen: This book was an introduction to anatomy. It helped people understand the basics of the human body. The title means "Introduction to Anatomy." He dedicated this book to Henry Howard, Earl of Surrey. Henry Howard was a famous poet and nobleman.

In the introduction to his anatomy book, Edguard mentioned a bigger plan. He hoped to write a complete guide to anatomy. This guide would include ideas from many smart people.
