De'Mon Glanton (born July 22, 1986) is a former American football player. He played as a defensive back, which is a player who tries to stop the other team from catching passes. De'Mon played college football at Mississippi State University. He also played for several professional teams, including the Henry Horsemen, Iowa Barnstormers, Los Angeles Kiss, Portland Thunder, and Orlando Predators.

Early Days: High School Football

De'Mon Glanton grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He played high school football at Benjamin Elijah Mays High School. During his time there, he was a very versatile player. He caught passes for over 600 yards as a wide receiver. On defense, he was also excellent, grabbing six interceptions.

In 2003, De'Mon was recognized for his skills. He earned honorable mention all-state honors. This means he was considered one of the best players in the entire state. He also helped his team, the Raiders, have a fantastic season. They finished with an 11–1 record and won their regional championship. They even made it to the second round of the state playoffs.

College Journey: Mississippi State

After high school, De'Mon went on to play college football. He joined the Mississippi State Bulldogs team. He played for them from 2004 to 2008. In 2004, he was redshirted. This means he practiced with the team but didn't play in any games. It allowed him an extra year to develop his skills.

Over his college career, De'Mon played in all 48 games for the Bulldogs. He started in 28 of those games. He made a total of 134 tackles, which means he stopped the opposing team's players. He also had five interceptions, showing his strong defensive skills.

Professional Career: Playing in the AFL

After college, De'Mon Glanton continued his football journey. He played for several professional teams.

Henry Horsemen: Starting Out

In 2011, De'Mon played for the Henry Horsemen. This team was part of the Gridiron Developmental Football League. It was a good start to his professional career.

Iowa Barnstormers: A Key Player

De'Mon joined the Iowa Barnstormers in the Arena Football League (AFL) in 2011. The AFL is a professional indoor football league. In his first year, 2012, he had 38 tackles in eleven games.

He had a standout season in 2013. He recorded 95 tackles and made six interceptions in 17 games. Because of his great performance, he was named the Barnstormers' Defensive Player of the Year. In 2014, he continued to play well. He had 86 tackles and four interceptions in 16 games. After the 2014 season, the Barnstormers left the AFL.

Other Teams: Los Angeles, Portland, Orlando

De'Mon Glanton then moved to other AFL teams. In 2014, he joined the Los Angeles Kiss. He played for them briefly before being moved to another team in April 2015.

In May 2015, De'Mon was assigned to the Portland Thunder, another AFL team. He played for them during the 2015 season. After the season ended, he became a free agent.

His last known team was the Orlando Predators in the AFL. He joined them in January 2016. However, he was placed on recallable reassignment in March 2016.
