From Book to Big Screen: The Movie
The Dear Dumb Diary books were so popular that they were turned into a movie! The film was shot in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The movie stars Emily Alyn Lind as Jamie Kelly. Mary-Charles Jones plays Isabella, Jamie’s best friend. The film first showed on the Hallmark Channel on September 6, 2013. For a while, you could also watch it on streaming services like Netflix.
