Dedicated to the One I Love is a special music album by American singer Linda Ronstadt. It takes classic rock songs and turns them into gentle lullabies for children.
This album came out in mid-1996. It was quite popular, reaching #78 on the main Billboard album chart and staying there for three months. It also became a big hit for kids, reaching #1 on the Top Kid Audio chart! The album even won a Grammy Award in 1997, which is a very important music award.
Two other singers helped Linda Ronstadt on this album. Aaron Neville sang a duet on "Brahms' Lullaby," and Valerie Carter added harmony vocals to many of the songs.
The album was reissued, meaning it was released again, by Rhino's Flashback Records in 2009. However, it is now out of print, which means new copies are no longer being made.

Who Made the Music?

Main Singers and Musicians
- Linda Ronstadt sang the main parts on most songs. She also added harmony vocals and helped arrange some of the music.
- Valerie Carter sang harmony vocals and was the main singer on "Devoted to You."
- Aaron Neville sang a duet on "Brahms' Lullaby."
- Other musicians played instruments like the piano, synthesizers, harp, cello, viola, and violin. A special instrument called a glass harmonica was also used, which makes sounds by rubbing wet fingers on glass.
Production Team
- George Massenburg and Linda Ronstadt were the producers, meaning they oversaw the entire making of the album. George Massenburg also worked as the engineer and mixer.
