She then acted in popular soap operas. She played Penny O'Brien in The Box in 1974. From 1976 to 1977, she was nurse Jojo Adams in The Young Doctors.
Becoming a TV Star
Delvene became very well-known as a regular on The Paul Hogan Show in the late 1970s. She also appeared often on the game show Blankety Blanks from 1977 to 1979. Later, she was a co-presenter on the quiz show Sale of the Century from 1982 to 1986. Today, she works for the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital.
Delvene Delaney's Personal Life
Delvene Delaney was married to John Cornell for 44 years. He was also a co-star on The Paul Hogan Show. They were married until he passed away in July 2021. They had two children together, named Allira and Liana.
Delvene's younger sister, Cassandra Delaney, is also an actress.
