Playing Career
Demi Okely was chosen by Fremantle in the 2016 AFL Women's draft. She was their 16th pick and the 125th player chosen overall. This draft is how teams pick new players for the league.
She played her first game in the 2017 AFL Women's season. This was in Round 1 against the Western Bulldogs. The game took place at VU Whitten Oval. Demi played in every match during her first season. She finished the 2017 season having played seven games. After the 2017 season ended, she was no longer part of the team.
