The Demino Ski Marathon (which is called Дёминский лыжный марафон in Russian) is a super exciting cross-country skiing race in Russia. It has been held every year since 2007. In June 2012, it became a special Worldloppet event. This means it's one of the most important ski races in the world! It is also the most popular ski race in Russia. For example, in 2015, 1402 people took part.

The main race is 50 kilometers long. Skiers use the free style technique. This means they can move their skis like ice skaters. The race can be one long lap or two shorter laps.
