Dennis Amos Marshall Maxwell (born August 9, 1985 – died June 23, 2011) was a talented footballer from Costa Rica. He played as a defender, usually as a left back or center back. Dennis Marshall was also a member of the Costa Rica national team.

Dennis Marshall started his football career in his home country. He played for a local team called Limonense.
Club Career in Costa Rica
In 2007, Marshall joined Puntarenas. He played well there for two years. In 2009, he moved to Herediano for a short time. This was a "loan" move, which means he played for Herediano while still belonging to Puntarenas.
Playing in Denmark
Later in 2009, Dennis Marshall moved to Europe. He joined a club called AaB in Denmark. This was a big step in his career, playing in the Danish Superliga, which is Denmark's top football league.

On June 23, 2011, Dennis Marshall passed away in a car accident in Costa Rica. He was traveling with his girlfriend, Meilyn Arianna Masís Castro. The accident happened near San José.
His passing was a very sad event for Costa Rica. The country's president, Laura Chinchilla, spoke on national television to share her sadness. A special ceremony was held at Estadio Eladio Rosabal Cordero, the stadium of his former club, CS Herediano, to remember him.
