The Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand (รองนายกรัฐมนตรี) is a very important job in the government of Thailand. Think of them as a senior helper to the Prime Minister, who is the main leader of the country. Thailand can have several Deputy Prime Ministers serving at the same time. The Prime Minister usually chooses who gets these roles. This position was first created a long time ago, in 1943. Sometimes, a Deputy Prime Minister also has another big job, like leading a government ministry.
