Early Life and His Beginnings
Desmond Pringle was born in Charleston, South Carolina. His parents were part of the Reformed Episcopal church. He was christened there as a baby. He later attended Winthrop University. After touring, he moved to Chicago, Illinois. During his early songwriting days, he was guided by T. D. Jakes and Clay Evans. They helped him develop his skills.
His Music Journey
Desmond Pringle began his solo recording career in 1999. He first released his own music project. His first big record deal came in 2001. He released an album called Loyalty on January 16, 2001. This album was with Tommy Boy Records. It was very popular and appeared on five different Billboard magazine charts.
His second album was titled Be Still. It was released on September 26, 2006. Central South Music released this album. Be Still appeared on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. His third album, Fidelity, came out on May 14, 2013. Kingdom Records released Fidelity. This album also charted on the Gospel Albums chart.
