Devick Lake is a lovely lake found close to Heffley Creek in the Canadian province of British Columbia. It's a natural body of water that is important to the local area. This lake is also the starting point for Devick Creek, a stream that flows from it.
The Story Behind Devick Lake's Name
Devick Lake is named after a man called Henri Louis Devick. He was an interesting person who came to Canada from Switzerland in 1904. He decided to make his home west of Heffley Creek, in British Columbia. The lake and the creek that flows from it were named in his honor, remembering his early settlement in the region.
