Later, she earned a Master of Arts in Performance Studies. She received this degree from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2003. Her strong education helped her become the unique artist she is today.

Awards and Recognition

Diane Borsato has received important awards for her art. She was nominated for the Sobey Art Award in both 2011 and 2013. This is one of Canada's most important art prizes. In 2008, she won the Victor Martyn Lynch-Staunton Award. This award was given by the Canada Council for the Arts for her work in inter-arts.
