Diego Brochero facts for kids

Diego Brochero was a brave Spanish sailor who lived a long time ago. He was born in a place called Salamanca in Spain. He became an important leader in the Spanish navy.

Diego Brochero was part of two big Spanish fleets, known as the 2nd Spanish Armada and the 3rd Spanish Armada. These were large groups of ships sent out by Spain.

In 1601, Diego Brochero became an admiral, which is a very high rank in the navy. He was in charge of fifteen ships! He also helped lead soldiers to land in Ireland during a time of war. He passed away in Madrid, Spain, on July 30, 1625.
