Dihya or Damya was a brave Berber queen and a strong leader. She was also known as Al-Kahina, which means "the diviner" in Arabic. Dihya led her people in fighting against the Muslim conquest of the Maghreb. This region was known as Numidia back then. She was born in the early 600s and died around the late 600s or early 700s.
