The Dikhil Region is a large area in southern Djibouti. Its main city, or capital, is Dikhil. This region is famous for its beautiful desert landscapes.

The Dikhil Region is one of the six regions of Djibouti. It is located in the southern part of the country. The region covers a total area of about 7,200 square kilometers. This makes it a very large area, mostly covered by desert.
As of 2019, about 104,977 people live in the Dikhil Region. The highest point in the region is 1,362 meters above sea level. The region is known for its dry, desert environment.
