Early Life and Family
Dixie Jane D'Amelio was born on August 12, 2001. Her hometown is Norwalk, Connecticut. Her parents are Marc and Heidi D'Amelio. Marc was a candidate for the Connecticut State Senate in 2018. Heidi is a photographer and used to be a model. Dixie's younger sister is Charli D'Amelio. Charli is also a very popular person on TikTok.
Becoming a Star
Dixie D'Amelio became famous around the same time as her sister, Charli. Both sisters gained a lot of followers on TikTok. In January 2020, Dixie signed with a talent agency called United Talent Agency. This helped her get more opportunities.
In May 2020, Dixie and Charli announced a new podcast. It was called 2 Chix. The podcast gave fans a look into their lives. It also covered different topics they were thinking about.
Acting and Music Debut
Dixie also started an acting career. She appeared in the Brat TV series called Attaway General. On June 26, 2020, Dixie released her very first song. It was titled "Be Happy". This song became very popular. By August 2021, it had been streamed over 86 million times on Spotify.
