Dog House is a fun Canadian comedy TV show that aired in 1990 and 1991. It tells the story of a police detective who accidentally switches minds with his loyal St. Bernard dog partner. The show is all about the funny situations that happen because of this unusual mind swap!
What is Dog House About?
The story of Dog House begins with a police detective and his dog partner, Digby, a big St. Bernard. They are on duty when they get into a car accident. After the accident, something amazing and very strange happens: the detective's mind ends up in Digby's body!
Now, the detective, who is stuck in Digby's dog body, is taken in by Helen Underwood (Shelley Peterson). Helen is the detective's sister-in-law and a widow. She lives with her three children: Annabelle (played by Valentina Cardinalli), Richie (Jaimz Woolvett), and Timmy (played by Jonathan Shapiro). The funniest part is that the detective, now as Digby the dog, can actually talk to the family! This leads to many hilarious and heartwarming moments as they try to deal with this secret.
