Dominic John Sebastian Knight (born January 26, 1977) is an Australian writer and comedian. He is famous for being part of the comedy group The Chaser. This group is known for its funny and smart political satire. Dominic Knight has also written for the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper. He used to host a radio show called Evenings on ABC Local Radio in NSW and the ACT. In May 1999, he helped start The Chaser newspaper with his friends from Sydney University. These friends included Charles Firth, Julian Morrow, and Craig Reucassel.

Early Life and Education
Dominic Knight went to Sydney Grammar School. There, he met other future members of The Chaser, Chas Licciardello and Charles Firth. He studied law at the University of Sydney. He also earned a Master of Arts degree from the University of Technology, Sydney. His brother, Jasper Knight, is a well-known Australian painter. His grandfather, Sir Harold Knight, was a former head of the Reserve Bank.

Dominic Knight has worked on many comedy projects. He is mostly a writer behind the scenes.
Working with The Chaser
He was a writer for The Hamster Wheel, an Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) TV show. This show was created by The Chaser comedy group. Unlike some of his friends, Dominic Knight did not often appear on screen. However, he did have some small roles. He was a reporter for two seasons of CNNNN. He also helped write the commentary for The Chaser's War on Everything DVD.
In January 2007, he hosted a summer radio show on Triple M with Chas Licciardello. Their show was called Chas and Dom from 'The Chaser'. It aired on weekdays and often featured other Chaser members.
Writing and Commentary
Dominic Knight also writes for the Sydney Morning Herald. He shares his opinions and used to write for a section called Radar. He also wrote a blog about the 2007 New South Wales election. He writes a weekly column for the Daily Life website.
He has appeared on TV shows that discuss politics. These include Paul Murray Live on Sky News Australia and The Drum on ABC News 24.
Radio Hosting
In January 2012, Dominic Knight became the host of the Evenings show. This show was on 702 ABC Sydney, 1233 ABC Newcastle, 666 ABC Canberra, and other ABC Local Radio stations. He left the show in April 2016. Since then, he has hosted other programs on the network sometimes. In late 2016, he hosted the Nightlife show for a short time.
As of 2025, Knight is back on Triple M Sydney. He hosts "Radio Chaser" on weekdays. He also hosts the Platinum Edition show nationally on Saturdays.
