Dominic Knight, born on January 26, 1977, is an Australian writer and comedian. He is famous for being part of The Chaser, a comedy group known for its funny political satire. Political satire means making fun of politics and news in a clever way. Dominic has also written for the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper. He used to host a radio show called Evenings on ABC Local Radio.
Dominic helped start The Chaser newspaper in May 1999. He did this with his friends from Sydney University: Charles Firth, Julian Morrow, and Craig Reucassel.

Dominic Knight's Early Life and Education
Dominic Knight went to Sydney Grammar School. There, he met other future members of The Chaser, Chas Licciardello and Charles Firth. He studied law at the University of Sydney. He also earned advanced degrees in writing and arts.
Dominic is the brother of Australian painter Jasper Knight. His grandfather was Sir Harold Knight, who used to be in charge of the Reserve Bank.

Working with The Chaser Group
He was a writer for The Hamster Wheel, an Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) TV show. This show was created by The Chaser comedy group. While his friends often appeared on screen, Dominic mostly wrote for the show.
He did make some small appearances on TV. He was a reporter for two seasons of CNNNN. He also helped create the commentary for The Chaser's War on Everything DVD.
Dominic's Radio Shows
In January 2007, Dominic hosted a summer radio show on Triple M. He co-hosted it with Chas Licciardello. Their show was called Chas and Dom from 'The Chaser'. Other Chaser members often joined them as guests.
Later, in January 2012, Dominic became the host of the Evenings show. This show was on 702 ABC Sydney and other ABC Local Radio stations. He left that show in April 2016. He still sometimes hosts other programs on the ABC network.
Dominic is now back on Triple M Sydney. He hosts "Radio Chaser" on weekdays. He also hosts the "Platinum Edition" show nationally on Saturdays.
Writing for Newspapers and Online
Dominic also writes for the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper. He writes opinion pieces and used to write for a section called Radar. He also wrote a blog about the 2007 New South Wales election. He writes a weekly column for the Daily Life website.
