Dominika Banevič (also known as B-Girl Nicka) is a super talented breakdancer from Lithuania. She was born on June 8, 2007. Breakdancing is a cool style of street dance where dancers perform amazing moves. Dominika has won many big competitions around the world. She even won a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics!
Dominika Banevič: A Breaking Star
Dominika Banevič is a student at the John Paul II Gymnasium in Vilnius, Lithuania. This school teaches in Polish. Dominika started practicing breakdancing in September 2015. She quickly showed a lot of talent and passion for the dance.
Becoming a World Champion
Dominika's hard work paid off in a big way. In 2023, when she was just 16 years old, she became a world champion. This happened at a competition in Leuven. That same year, she also won the Lithuanian national championships for the fourth time. She also won the European Championships title in 2023.
Olympic Success
Dominika represented Lithuania in breakdancing at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. This was a huge moment for her and her country. She performed incredibly well and won a silver medal. This made her one of the top breakdancers in the world. After returning to Lithuania, she received a new electric car. This gift was from the golf community and people of Vilnius. It was a way to celebrate her amazing achievement.
