Dominique Fishback (born March 22, 1991) is an American actress. She is known for her roles in TV shows and movies. She played Billie Rowan in Show Me a Hero and Darlene in The Deuce.
Dominique also played Deborah Johnson in the movie Judas and the Black Messiah. For this role, she was nominated for a Critics' Choice Movie Award and a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. In 2023, she started starring in the TV series Swarm on Amazon Prime Video. Her acting in Swarm was highly praised. It earned her a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award.

Early Life and Education
Dominique Fishback first became interested in acting when she was about 10 years old. She studied theater at Pace University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater in 2013.
Acting Career
In 2014, Dominique Fishback wrote and performed her own play called Subverted. In this play, she acted as 22 different characters! Subverted was nominated for an award in 2015.
Her first big role was in the TV show Show Me a Hero. She played Billie Rowan, a single mother. In 2016, she received a special award from the Abingdon Theatre Company.
Breakthrough Roles
Dominique's first regular role in a TV series was in The Deuce. This show was set in Times Square in the 1970s. The show's co-creator, David Simon, praised her acting as Darlene. USA Today even listed her as one of the new faces to watch on TV in 2017.
In 2017, Dominique appeared in a music video for Jay-Z. She played a younger version of his mother, Gloria Carter, in the video for "Smile." Her first movie was Night Comes On, which was shown at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. She also played Kenya in the movie The Hate U Give (2018). This film is based on a very popular book for young adults.
Recent Work
In 2020, Dominique starred in the movie Project Power. She played a smart teenager named Robin Reilly. She acted alongside famous actors like Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. This movie was released on Netflix.
In 2021, she was in Judas and the Black Messiah. She played Deborah Johnson, who was the partner of Fred Hampton. In 2023, Dominique starred in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. This movie is a sequel to Bumblebee.
