Donnie Craft (born November 19, 1959) is a former American football player. He was a running back, which means he was a player who runs with the ball. Donnie played for the Houston Oilers in the National Football League (NFL).

He was picked by the Oilers in the 1982 NFL draft. Before that, he played college football at the University of Louisville. Donnie also played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Playing College Football

Donnie Craft played college football for the Louisville Cardinals. He was part of the team from 1978 to 1981. He was a key player for four years.

In 1978, as a freshman, he ran for 255 yards. He also scored one touchdown. He even threw two passes for touchdowns!

In 1979, he ran for 347 yards and scored two touchdowns. The next year, in 1980, he had his best college season. He ran for 687 yards and scored five touchdowns.
