Doru Tureanu (born January 11, 1954 – died March 11, 2014) was a fantastic Romanian ice hockey player. He was known for his amazing skills on the ice. Doru played as a centre, which is a key position in hockey. He spent his whole career playing for one team in his hometown.

Doru Tureanu played his entire professional hockey career in his hometown of Bucharest, Romania. He was a loyal player for Dinamo Bucuresti in the Romanian Hockey League. He played with them from 1970 to 1987.

Winning Championships

With Dinamo Bucuresti, Doru Tureanu helped his team win the national championship six times! These big wins happened in 1971, 1972, 1973, 1976, 1979, and 1981. He was a very important part of their success.

Playing with Teammates
