Story of the Twins
This show is about two Aboriginal twin girls. They were separated when they were babies. Fifteen years later, they meet by accident in Alice Springs. One twin, Yuma, grew up in the busy city of Sydney with her European-Australian dad. The other twin, Kyanna, lived in a faraway Aboriginal community in Central Australia with her mother.
When they meet, they come up with a secret plan. They decide to swap places! This way, each girl can meet her other family. But things get tricky when Yuma's dad leaves early. Kyanna ends up going to Sydney as Yuma. Yuma stays in Alice Springs pretending to be Kyanna. The girls want to protect their mother from an old belief about twins. So, they decide not to tell their families the truth. They then try to find a way to switch back to their own lives.
