Douglas LeAllen Williams (born September 3, 1956) is an American singer and music artist. He is well-known for his gospel music. Doug Williams began his solo music career in 1995. His first album, Heartsongs, was released by Blackberry Records. This album was very successful and even earned him a nomination for a Grammy Award. He was nominated for the Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album at the 38th Annual Grammy Awards. His next album, When Mercy Found Me, came out in 2003. It was also released by Blackberry Records. His third album, Good Graces, was released in 2005. The first two albums were popular and appeared on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart.
