William Drake White (born October 3, 1983) is an American country music singer. He is also the leader of his band, Drake White & The Big Fire.

Drake White's Early Life

Drake White was born in Hokes Bluff, Alabama. He went to Hokes Bluff High School there. When he was 14, Drake started writing down his thoughts. Some of these ideas later became lyrics in his songs.

He began singing when his parents asked him to join the youth choir. This was at the First Baptist Church of Hokes Bluff. Later, he went to Gadsden State Community College. He also studied at Auburn University. He earned a degree in building science. After college, he worked in construction in Nashville, Tennessee. But he soon left that job to follow his dream of a music career.

Drake White's Music Journey

Drake White and his band, "Drake White & The Big Fire," have opened for many famous musicians. These include Eric Church, Luke Bryan, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. They also performed before Little Big Town and the Zac Brown Band.

In 2013, Drake White released his first song, "Simple Life." This was through MCA Nashville. In 2014, he signed with Dot Records. His song "It Feels Good" came out in 2015. Another popular song, "Livin' the Dream," followed later that year.

On August 19, 2016, Drake White released his first album, "Spark." It was a big hit, reaching number 4 on the Top Country Albums chart. The album also featured the song "Makin' Me Look Good Again." In 2018, he released a new collection of songs called "Pieces."

Drake White's Health

In January 2019, Drake White was diagnosed with a rare health condition. It is called arteriovenous malformation (AVM). He has been open about his journey with this condition.
