Dream is a creamy white chocolate bar made by Cadbury. It used to be sold in the UK, but now it's mainly found in Australia and South Africa.
Dream chocolate is a bit like Milkybar, which is made by Nestlé. However, Dream uses real cocoa butter. It's also a bit thinner than a Milkybar. Cadbury has also made other white chocolate treats, like 'Cadbury White Giant Buttons'.
In 2019, this chocolate bar was brought back to the UK. It had a new name: 'Cadbury White'.
History of Dream Chocolate
Where Dream Began
Dream chocolate first came out in Australia and New Zealand in 2001. Cadbury said it quickly became one of the top five block chocolate brands in New Zealand. It even helped the chocolate market grow!
In 2002, Dream was launched in the United Kingdom and Canada. It was even shown during Cadbury's sponsorship of the TV show Coronation Street.
Coming Back to the UK
The bar was relaunched in the UK and Ireland in 2019. It was called 'Cadbury White' this time. It was first sold only at a store called Asda.
Later, in May 2020, Dream chocolate returned to the UK again. This time, it was part of special promotions for Australian Cadbury chocolates. It was sold alongside other popular Australian Cadbury bars.
