Dream is a type of white chocolate made by Cadbury. It's known as 'Cadbury White' in the UK. While it's not sold as 'Dream' in the UK anymore, you can still find it in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. In 2019, the chocolate bar was brought back to the UK with the new name 'Cadbury White'. This relaunch also gave it a fresh look, including a new Cadbury logo that was introduced in 2020.

The Story of Dream Chocolate

How Dream Was Developed

It took four years to create the Dream chocolate bar. Scientists and food experts worked hard to get the recipe just right. They wanted to make a delicious white chocolate that people would love.

When Dream First Appeared

Dream chocolate first came out in Australia and New Zealand in 2001. Cadbury said it quickly became one of the most popular chocolate bars in New Zealand. It even helped the whole chocolate market grow. In 2002, Dream was launched in the United Kingdom and Canada. It was even part of Cadbury's advertising for the TV show Coronation Street in the UK.

Dream's Return to the UK

In 2019, Dream chocolate was relaunched in the UK and Ireland. It got a new name: 'Cadbury White'. At first, it was sold only in Asda stores. Some people didn't like it much when it first came back.

Later, in May 2020, 'Cadbury White' was relaunched again in the UK. This time, it was part of special promotions at B&M stores. These promotions featured many Australian Cadbury chocolates. Along with 'Cadbury White', you could find other treats like Cadbury Dairy Milk Top Deck and Crispy Mint Creme.
