DukeDaGod, born George Moore on March 16, 1977, is an American rapper and music producer. He grew up in Harlem, New York City. He is a key member of the hip-hop group called The Diplomats. He also works as the Vice President of A&R for Diplomat Records. This means he helps find new artists and guides their music projects. DukeDaGod's Music Journey
Starting in Hip-Hop
George Moore began his journey in the music world by helping to create a hip-hop group. This group was called Children of the Corn. It included his friends from childhood, like Big L, Cam'ron, and Mase. Moore worked as the road manager for the group. After one of the members, Bloodshed, passed away, the group broke up.
Working with Diplomats
Moore later joined up with Cam'ron again. He became the A&R for Diplomat Records. In this role, he helped guide all the recording projects for artists signed to Diplomat Records. He played a big part in their music.
