Duncan Mills is a small place in Fulton County, Illinois, United States. It's called an unincorporated community because it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. You can find it where three important roads meet: US Route 24, US Route 136, and Illinois Route 100. It's just south of a town called Lewistown.
History of Duncan Mills
Duncan Mills had its own post office a long time ago. It opened in 1858 and helped people send and receive mail until 1905. The community got its name from a man named George Duncan. He owned a mill there, which was a place where grain was ground into flour.
