Duncan Stewart (born in 1948) is an Irish architect, environmentalist, and TV presenter. He is famous for his work on RTÉ, especially his show Eco Eye, which began in 2002. Duncan is very passionate about protecting our planet. He has spent many years teaching people about important environmental issues like climate-change. His niece, Louise Morris, is often said to have inspired him to work on fighting climate change.

Early Life and Activism
Duncan Stewart studied at University College Dublin (UCD). While he was still a student in 1969-1970, he led a big protest. This protest involved occupying seven large Georgian houses on Hume Street, Dublin. The protest lasted for six months. They were protesting because the houses were planned to be knocked down to build a new office block. This action showed his early commitment to protecting important buildings and places.

Beyond Television
Outside of his work, Duncan Stewart enjoys playing music. He is a keen clarinet player. He sometimes plays at Hotel Newport in County Mayo.
