Dutch Wonderland Entrance
The castle entrance to Dutch Wonderland

Dutch Wonderland is a fun amusement park about 48 acres big. It's located just east of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This park is perfect for families, especially those with younger kids. It's known as a "Kingdom for Kids" because it's designed to be super fun for children!

When you arrive, you'll see a cool castle entrance! A potato farmer named Earl Clark built it before he opened the park in 1963.

The park has had a few owners over the years. The Clark family first owned Dutch Wonderland. Then, in 2001, they sold it to Hershey Entertainment. In 2010, Hershey Entertainment sold the park to Palace Entertainment, which owns it today.

Dutch Wonderland has over 30 rides, plus a splashy water park called Duke's Lagoon. Duke's Lagoon is a tropical-themed area where you can play in the water. You can even visit during special times like Halloween for "Happy Hauntings" and Christmas for "Dutch Winter Wonderland."

Fun Attractions at Dutch Wonderland

Dutch Wonderland has 32 rides, a water park called Duke's Lagoon, and exciting shows and games for kids. You might even meet some friendly characters like Duke the Dragon, Princess Brooke, and the Safety Knight!

There's also a special five-acre area called "Exploration Island." Here, you can walk along the "Prehistoric Path" and see more than 15 amazing animatronic (moving robot) dinosaurs! You can even see the island from the Skyride.
