Dylan Bruce is a Canadian actor. He was born on April 21, 1980. He is famous for playing Chris Hughes in the TV show As the World Turns. He also played Paul Dierden in the science fiction series Orphan Black.

Early Life and Start in Acting
Dylan Bruce was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He grew up in a place called Boundary Bay. He went to the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. There, he studied Drama and Economics. After college, he moved to Los Angeles, California.
Before acting, Dylan started his career as a model in Seattle. He even appeared on the cover of Daily Variety magazine in 2004.
Dylan Bruce's Acting Career
First Roles on TV
In 2005, Dylan got his first acting job. He played Agent Martin Kail in 24: Conspiracy. This was a special TV show made for mobile phones. That same year, he appeared in two episodes of the soap opera Passions. He also had a small role as a waiter in the TV show Joey.
Later, in 2006, he was in The Sopranos. In 2007, he played Anthony, a secretary, in the show Las Vegas.
Becoming Chris Hughes
In 2007, Dylan got a big role. He started playing Chris Hughes on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. He was the eighth actor to play this character. Dylan first appeared on the show on October 25, 2007. He played Chris Hughes until October 2008.
Movies and Sci-Fi Shows
Dylan Bruce also started acting in movies. His first big movie was Unstoppable in 2010. This movie starred Denzel Washington. In 2011, he was in the Hallmark Channel movie Love's Christmas Journey. The next year, he played Mark Hanson in the thriller movie Willed to Kill.
From 2013, Dylan co-starred as Paul Dierden in the sci-fi TV series Orphan Black. This show was very popular. He also had a recurring role as Adam Donner in The CW series Arrow.
In 2014, Dylan starred in two TV movies. These were Flowers in the Attic and its sequel, Petals on the Wind. In 2015, he was in the TV movie A Novel Romance.
Later Roles and Thoughts on Acting
After leaving Orphan Black in 2015, Dylan shared his feelings. He said he was very lucky to have had that experience. He enjoyed playing Paul and learning about military characters. He called it a "life-altering experience" he would never forget.
In October 2015, Dylan appeared in Heroes Reborn. He played Captain James Dearing. In 2016, he starred in the action comedy movie First Round Down. He also played Bobo Winthrop in the NBC series Midnight, Texas.
