Spencer George Bellamy, known as East Flatbush Project, is a music producer from Brooklyn, New York. He was born on October 30, 1969. He is famous for making hip hop music. He has released several songs, and his most well-known one is called "Tried by 12". He released all his songs through his own music company, 10/30 Uproar Records. In July 2008, East Flatbush Project also released a longer collection of songs called an EP titled "First Born," which you can find online.
In 2011, a famous DJ named DJ Premier used the music from "Tried by 12" for a special rap performance. This happened at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards. This performance was called a "cypher," where different rappers take turns freestyling over a beat. Famous rappers like Eminem, along with the group Slaughterhouse (which includes Royce da 5'9", Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, and Crooked I), and Yelawolf all rapped over the "Tried by 12" beat. This cypher was very popular and became one of the most talked-about parts of the awards show.
