The Eat-More chocolate bar is a chewy treat made by Hershey. It has a unique mix of dark toffee, peanuts, and chocolate. Its slogan invites you to "Dive into the unique taste of chewy dark toffee, peanut and chocolate."

This popular candy bar was first created in Canada. It was made by the Lowney company. Later, in 1987, Hershey Canada bought the company from Nabisco Ltd.

What is Eat-More?

Eat-More is known for being very chewy. It comes in a bright yellow wrapper. The bar is rectangular and flat. When you eat it, it feels like it "stretches" a bit. This makes it a fun and different kind of chocolate bar.

How Eat-More Got Its Name

Back in the early 1930s, the Lowney company held a contest. They wanted people to help them name their new chocolate bar. A person named Angus B. MacDonald won the contest. He was from New Waterford, which is in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. His prize was a cool clock. It looked like a measuring tape and had an art deco style.

Different Flavors of Eat-More

In 1995, a new version of Eat-More was launched. This one had caramel instead of dark toffee. It had a similar chewy texture to the original. The caramel version was the same size and shape. However, it came in a copper-colored wrapper. This caramel flavor is no longer made today.
