Ebb and Flo is a lovely animated TV series. It was created by two companies: Canning Factory Productions from the UK and Hahn Film AG [de] from Germany. The show's supervising directors and producers were Kate Canning and Gerhard Hahn. This series is based on the popular books written by children's author Jane Simmons.
The first episodes of Ebb and Flo were shown in the United Kingdom on Five. In the United States, you could watch it on Noggin. The show is narrated by the famous actress Fiona Shaw. It has been enjoyed by viewers in more than 100 countries around the world.
The Story of Ebb and Flo
The world of Ebb and Flo is mostly seen through the eyes of Ebb, the dog. Ebb often shows feelings that adults might try to keep hidden. This makes the show very relatable and honest.
The main characters are 5-year-old Flo and her best friend, Ebb. Flo doesn't just see Ebb as a dog. And Ebb doesn't think of Flo as just a child. They are simply the best of friends. Their lives revolve around their unique home, which is a boat. This boat is moored near where a river meets the sea.
They also spend time at the nearby boatyard. They have a small dinghy, which is a little boat, that they use to visit Flo's Granny. Granny lives up a nearby creek. Her house is in a quiet, wild area where time seems to slow down.
As Flo and Ebb play, they discover many new and exciting things. Their adventures become even more interesting with the arrival of Bird. Bird is a large white goose. Ebb sometimes finds that learning new things can be a bit tough. But with Flo's help, and Ebb's own playful sense of humor, they always manage to figure things out. Flo's Ma (mother) is always watching over them. She rarely gets in the way of their fun with Bird. Together, they make new friends in and around the boatyard.
