Ebony Obsidian (born April 16, 1994) is an American actress. She is known for her roles in movies and TV shows. She played Karen Mott in the TV series Sistas. She also had a role in the movie If Beale Street Could Talk. In 2024, she starred in the war drama film The Six Triple Eight.

Ebony Obsidian grew up in New Paltz, New York. Her family comes from Eritrea, a country in Africa. She started acting when she was a kid. But she didn't think it would be her job at first.
She went to college to study journalism. However, she later left college to focus on acting. She worked three jobs while training at the William Esper Studio. This is a famous acting school. While learning, she appeared in independent films. These included The Vixens and Where Hearts Lie. She also had a small, uncredited role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Her Acting Career
In 2015, Ebony Obsidian starred in Tough Love. This was a web series shown on YouTube. A web series is like a TV show, but it's made for the internet. This project started small. But it became very popular, getting over a million views.
