Echo Planet (Thai: เอคโค่ จิ๋วก้องโลก, romanized: Echo Jew Gong Lok) (also known as Adventure Planet) is an exciting 3D animated movie from Thailand, released in 2012. It was made by Kantana Group and directed by Kompin Keamkumned. The film tells the story of three young people from very different places. They come from a big, modern city called New State Trinity Capital and a quiet Karen village in Northern Thailand. Together, they go on an amazing adventure to help save our planet from the dangers of global warming.
What's the Story About?
The main character, Sam, is the son of the president of Capital City. He is used to getting his way and relies a lot on technology. During a scout trip, Sam gets lost. He finds himself in a small, rural village in a faraway country.
There, he meets Nora and her brother, Kim. They live a simple life, very different from Sam's city world. Soon, a huge environmental problem threatens to harm Earth. This problem is caused by global warming, which makes our planet too hot.
Sam, Nora, and Kim decide to work together to save the world. But the danger isn't just from global warming. Some scientists and world leaders think they can fix the problem with "cold bombs." These bombs are meant to cool the Earth, but they might cause even more trouble. The three friends must stop both the warming and the risky solutions to protect their home.
