Edu Bedia, whose full name is Eduardo Bedia Peláez, is a professional football player from Spain. He was born on March 23, 1989. Edu plays as a central midfielder, which means he helps both defend and attack in the middle of the field. He currently plays for Gimnástica de Torrelavega.

Edu Bedia's Football Journey
Edu Bedia started his football career in Spain. He played for several clubs before moving to Germany and then to India.
Playing in Spain and Germany
Edu Bedia grew up in Santander, Spain. He joined the youth team of his hometown club, Racing de Santander, when he was young. He made his first appearance for Racing Santander's main team in Spain's top league, La Liga, on September 24, 2008.
During the 2008–09 season, Edu played in 16 games for Racing Santander. He even scored goals in European competitions, which are big tournaments between clubs from different countries.
In January 2011, Edu was loaned to UD Salamanca, another Spanish team. He played there for five months. After that, he returned to Racing Santander.
Edu continued to play in Spain's second division for teams like Hércules CF and FC Barcelona Atlètic. On June 16, 2014, he moved to Germany to play for TSV 1860 Munich in the 2. Bundesliga.
After his time in Germany, Edu returned to Spain. On July 13, 2015, he signed a two-year contract with Real Oviedo. Later, on January 19, 2017, he joined Real Zaragoza, another team in the same league.
Time with FC Goa in India
On September 2, 2017, Edu Bedia moved to India. He joined FC Goa, a team in the Indian Super League. In his second season with FC Goa, he scored seven goals. His team reached the final of the league that year.
In June 2020, Edu signed a new two-year deal with FC Goa. He became the team's captain for the 2020–21 season. He also played for FC Goa in the 2021 AFC Champions League, which is a major Asian club competition. On April 20, 2021, he scored a goal against Persepolis F.C.. This made him the first player from an Indian club to score in the group stage of the AFC Champions League.
Edu also played in the 2021 Durand Cup with FC Goa. In the semi-finals, he was named the best player of the match. In the final game on October 3, he scored the only goal from a free kick in extra time, helping FC Goa win the cup.
Playing for Gokulam Kerala
On August 29, 2023, Edu Bedia signed a one-year contract with Gokulam Kerala FC. This team plays in the I-League, another football league in India.
