Eduardo Galvão (born April 19, 1962 – died December 7, 2020) was a Brazilian actor. He was well-known for his roles in TV shows and movies. Many people remember him from the show Caça Talentos on Rede Globo, where he worked with Angélica. Sadly, he passed away at 58 years old in 2020 due to COVID-19. This happened during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil.
His Acting Career
Eduardo Galvão started acting in TV shows when he was 27. His first big role was in O Salvador da Pátria in 1989.
He played many memorable characters. Some of his most famous roles include Paschoal Papagaio in Despedida de Solteiro (1992). He also played Mauro Botelho in A Viagem (1994).
From 1996 to 1998, he was Arthur Carneiro in the popular series Caça Talentos. Later, he played Otacilio Ferraço in Porto dos Milagres (2001). He was also Armando Bananeira in O Beijo do Vampiro (2002). One of his last roles was Dr. Roger Machado in Bom Sucesso in 2019.

Eduardo Galvão acted in many movies and television shows throughout his career.
Some of his movies include Tiradentes (1999) and Minha Vida em Suas Mãos (2001). He also appeared in Didi, o Caçador de Tesouros (2006). Later, he was in Um Tio Quase Perfeito (2017) and its sequel Um Tio Quase Perfeito 2 (2020). This last movie was his final film role.
On television, he was in many soap operas and series. After his debut in O Salvador da Pátria, he appeared in Araponga (1990) and As Pupilas do Senhor Reitor (1995). He also had roles in O Fim do Mundo (1996) and Chiquinha Gonzaga (1999).
He continued to act in popular shows like O Clone (2001) and A Diarista (2004). He also appeared in Paraíso Tropical (2007) and Insensato Coração (2011). In his later years, he was in Malhação: Seu Lugar no Mundo (2016) and Apocalipse (2017). His work brought joy to many viewers.
