Eileen Percy was born in Belfast, Ireland, in 1902. When she was very young, she lived in Brooklyn, New York, for a short time. She then moved back to Belfast. At age nine, she returned to Brooklyn and went to a special school called a convent.
After finishing school, Eileen became a model for artists. One famous artist she worked with was Charles Dana Gibson. Her pictures even appeared on magazine covers!
After her acting career, Eileen worked as a writer for a newspaper called the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Eileen Percy was married twice. Her first husband was Ulrich Busch. Later, she married Harry Ruby, who was a songwriter.
Eileen Percy passed away in Los Angeles, California, in 1973. Another actress, Arlene Dahl, played Eileen Percy in the movie Three Little Words in 1950.
