El Milagro is a town in the Huanchaco District in the La Libertad Region of Peru. It is part of the larger city area of Trujillo. In 2011, people living there wanted El Milagro to become its own district. Fishing is a very important part of how people make a living in this town.

In 2007, a count of the population was done. This count is called a census. The census showed that El Milagro had about 24,625 people living there.
Out of these, 12,828 were men and 11,797 were women. Many people in El Milagro are young. About 62.86% of the population was under 29 years old at that time.
