The El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center is a special place in El Paso, Texas. It was started in 1994 by Henry Kellen, who was a Holocaust survivor. This means he lived through the Holocaust, a terrible time in history.
The museum's main goal is to teach people about the Holocaust. This was when the Nazi government, a very cruel group, caused great suffering during World War II. They created places called concentration camps where many people were held captive and treated terribly. The museum also teaches about the brave people who resisted, or fought against, the Nazis. The museum gets its money from donations and grants.

It costs nothing to visit the El Paso Holocaust Museum. Everyone can come in for free. The museum is open six days a week. It is closed on Mondays and on most national holidays. It also closes for some important Jewish holidays like Passover, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur.
