Eliza Bennett (born on March 17, 1992) is a talented English actress and singer. She is well-known for her roles in movies like Nanny McPhee, where she played Tora, and Inkheart, where she was Meggie Folchart. Eliza also starred as Holly Manson in the musical Loserville in London's West End. More recently, she played Jules Thomas in the TV show Sweet/Vicious and Amanda Carrington in the series Dynasty from 2021 to 2022.

About Eliza's Early Life
Eliza Bennett was born and grew up in a town called Reading in England. She lived there with her older brother and sister. Eliza also went to Leighton Park School when she was younger.
Eliza's Acting Career
Starting in Film and TV
Eliza began her acting journey at a young age. Her very first role was as Jemima in the musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in London in 2002, when she was only nine years old.
She got her first movie role in 2004, playing Princess Arabella in The Prince & Me. A year later, in 2005, Eliza landed one of her most famous roles as Tora in the popular movie Nanny McPhee.
More Film and TV Roles
In 2005, Eliza also appeared in a TV movie called Supernova. The next year, she played Young Anne in the film Victims. She also worked with actor Wesley Snipes in the 2007 movie The Contractor, playing Emily.
Eliza also appeared in a TV episode of Agatha Christie's Marple called "By the Pricking of My Thumbs", where she played Nora.
Big Roles in Fantasy and Thrillers
In 2006, Eliza took on the role of Meggie Folchart in the movie Inkheart. This film was based on a popular book by Cornelia Funke. Later, in 2009, she played Susan in Julian Fellowes' movie From Time to Time.
Eliza explored different genres, starring in the thriller film F in 2010 as Kate Anderson. She also appeared in Roadkill in 2011. In 2012, she played a character named Kayleigh in the thriller Confine. For this role, she won the Best Actress Award at CYIFF in 2013.
In 2015, Eliza played two roles in the film H8RZ as Alex/Brittany. She also played Agathe Von Trapp in The von Trapp Family: A Life of Music.
Recent TV Shows
From 2016 to 2017, Eliza was a main character, Jules Thomas, in the TV series Sweet/Vicious. In 2021, she joined the cast of the CW series Dynasty, playing Amanda Carrington until 2022. In 2022, she also appeared in the Netflix film Do Revenge.
Eliza's Music Career
Eliza Bennett is also a singer. She sang a song called "My Declaration" for the Inkheart movie soundtrack. This song was originally by Tom Baxter.
In 2012, Eliza returned to musical theatre. She was cast as Holly in the Loserville musical in London's West End. The show first played in Leeds before moving to the Garrick Theatre.
Eliza released her own music too. Her new EP (Extended Play) called "Late Twenties" came out in November 2022.
